Pink Pop Kawaii is Shi‘s blog on kawaii culture, the color pink, and all things adorable, cute, girly and sweet from all over the world and the Interwebs.
Kawaii is a Japanese adjective that connotes the state of “being cute”. It is also a noun used to refer to “the quality of being cute, or items that are cute”. As a whole, kawaii culture is a big part of everyday Japanese life and is making its way all over the world.
The site name is a bit of wordplay by starting with my favorite color, “pink”, shortening “popular” and suffixing “kawaii”. This blog has been online since 13 July 2016 and part of Very Shirley.
My main personal journal is located at Shi Bytes. My visual cute Tumblr and this blog’s companion site is located at The Pink Pop Kawaii Tumblelog.
